Welcome to the website of ACARGO LOGISTICS. By accessing, browsing, or using our logistics services—including sea, air, and land freight consolidation and customs procedures—the customer agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part, please refrain from using the platform or contracting our services.
ACARGO LOGISTICS acts as an international freight consolidator and deconsolidator, facilitating sea (FCL/LCL), air, and land transportation, as well as customs handling and temporary storage. The details and technical specifications of each shipment will be agreed individually through the relevant Air Waybills (AWB), Bills of Lading (B/L), or road consignment notes.
The customer is solely responsible for declaring the exact nature, weight, volume, and actual value of the goods shipped. Shipping illegal goods, weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials (IMO/HAZMAT) that have not been declared in advance and authorized by the relevant regulatory authorities is strictly prohibited.
ACARGO LOGISTICS provides customs guidance and management; however, duties, import VAT, customs fines, and delays caused by discrepancies in origin or customer documentation are the sole responsibility of the consignee or importer.
Unless the customer explicitly requests and pays for cargo insurance arranged through us, shipments travel at the customer’s risk. ACARGO LOGISTICS’ liability in the event of loss or damage is limited by the applicable international convention (Hamburg Rules, Hague-Visby Rules, or Warsaw/Montreal Convention) and the laws in force in the Republic of Guatemala.
We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time to reflect new legal requirements or operational changes. We recommend reviewing this section periodically.
These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Guatemala. Any dispute related to our services will be submitted to the competent courts of Guatemala City.
